Thank you to all the stores that participated in our national tournament. We have over 100 store participate, and it was a great tournament!

The grand prize winner of the tournament was Matt Potthoff, a customer of  Greg Perez’s Oviedo, FL store. I spoke with Matt today, and he was very excited! Saturday, the day of the tournament, was his 20^th birthday, and he got a GREAT birthday present. As you can imagine, Matt has been playing COD for many years, and participated in quite a few national tournaments.   Here is a quote from Matt:

I wanted to say that this tournament was ran very smoothly, most competitions that I have been too have been delayed due to accidents or not being prepared, but every Play N Trade tournament I have been to has been on time and runs very smoothly, they truly care about the gaming community and the industry.

The second place winner was Jordan Wendt, playing out of Troy Brazelton’s Woodstock, Georgia store.  We owe a special thanks to Ferline and Gabriel Etienne of the Canton, Georgia Play N Trade, as, due to a connection issue, Troy’s winner was not able to play in his store and the Canton store was gracious enough to host him for his competition.  

The third and fourth place winners were Joseph Mikkelson and Ernie Ithier of Mark Mazurek’s Naperville, IL and Ken Leese’s Marlton, NJ stores, respectively.
